Jack Baker Racing is a small, independent father-and-son team run by Josh and Jack Baker. Every part of the programme — kart preparation, logistics, engineering, setup, data analysis, travel and media — is done in-house on a limited budget, driven by passion and hard work rather than resources.
For Jack, karting is more than a sport — it’s structure, focus and purpose. Born with dyslexia and autism, he calls them his strengths, not weaknesses. Those differences give him exceptional concentration, feel for the kart and an analytical, problem-solving mindset. His calmness under pressure and ability to stay composed in chaotic races have already led to results far beyond expectations.
Starting in corporate karts, Jack quickly progressed through the ranks, becoming 2024 Junior Pro Champion across all classes at Mr Karting Warwick — winning the Winter, Summer and Autumn Sprint Series, and earning a place at the TB Kart International Final in Paris. In 2025 he continued that momentum, securing the Winter Sprint Championship and setting another lap record.
Now competing in owner-driver Junior X30 on a Birel ART chassis with a JSR-prepared engine, Jack trains daily both physically and mentally — karting, cycling, sim work, and studying onboard footage to refine lines, braking points and racecraft. His progress has already been recognised by professional drivers and even a British Champion, who described him as “extremely talented.”
Despite limited resources, Jack continues to deliver clean drives, smart overtakes, and rapid learning every weekend. The goal is simple: keep developing, keep improving, and keep proving that determination and hard work can level the playing field in motorsport.
Despite running without a team or coach, Jack’s results have been outstanding:
• 2024 Junior Pro Champion – overall across all classes (188 drivers)
• Winner – Winter, Summer & Autumn Sprint Series
• Lap Record Holder – Mr Karting (2024 & 2025)
• 5th Place – TB Kart International Final (Paris)
• Fastest Lap – Kimbolton Final (pouring rain, finished P2)
• P2 – Shenington Final Round 9 (over the line P1 before penalty)

Driver – Junior X30 | #45
Jack Baker is a fast, focused and hardworking young driver competing in the ultra-competitive Junior X30 class. Jack won three sprint championships, became the overall Junior Pro Champion out of 188 drivers, and set lap records. He later earned a place in the TB Kart International Final in Paris, finishing inside the Top 5 against elite European drivers.
Jack is known for his calm mindset, clean racecraft and strong technical understanding. He studies his data, watches onboard footage, and works closely with his dad on kart setup, gear ratios, tyres and chassis tuning. Despite living with dyslexia and autism, Jack’s focus, pattern recognition and determination have become his greatest strengths on track.
Jack has already raced wheel-to-wheel with British, European and World Champions — and proven he belongs at the front. His goal is simple: keep learning, keep improving, and keep moving up the motorsport ladder.

Team Principal & Engineer
Josh is the Dad, engineer, van driver, problem-solver and calm voice behind Jack Baker Racing.
With more than 25 years of hands-on engineering experience across agriculture, marine and specialist vehicles, Josh runs every part of the race operation – from kart prep and setup to logistics, trackside repairs and data-led improvements.
He originally trained with Massey Ferguson as a maintenance technician, gaining City & Guilds qualifications in hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, mechanical systems and general maintenance. That led to roles as a flotilla engineer, skipper and test engineer and production in the marine industry, before moving into aftersales for Pearl Motor Yachts.
In 2006, Josh founded All Craft Engineering Ltd, followed by Ace Marine Services, building a reputation for high-quality servicing, fabrication and problem-solving on everything from 4x4s and horseboxes to boats and specialist machinery. Today, all of that experience is focused on one thing: giving Jack the best possible equipment and support on a very tight budget.
